Sustainability In The Digital Era

 

25th of October 2019 - Sustainability Asia Inc. (SAI) held a conference themed “Sustainability in the Digital Era” at the Lighthouse Hotel & Resort, Subic Bay, Philippines in conjunction with the soft launching of the company. The event was co-organized by Sinosun Subic Bay Holdings Corporation.

SAI is a certification initiative advocating sustainable concepts in all aspects of constructions and development, is founded by Sir Karl Mclean from United Kingdom and Richard Johnson from Australia who is also the Director of MUNDAX Digital Asset Exchange.

Graced by the Deputy Administrator of Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, Kenneth Rementilla, those who attended the event includes SMA of Germany, one of the largest company in the world supplying solar power solutions, represented by its General Manager, Mr. Nico Leibenguth; Relyant Global of the United States, a company formed by former US servicemen that specializes in construction, military munitions response, environmental services, and global development services, represented by its Project Manger Robert Siebert; Superbrands, a UK independent arbiter on branding that pays tribute to the world's leading brands, represented by its Marketing Director, Mr. Kenneth Rocete; L.A. Gan Associates, an architectural firm and green building consultant, represented by its founder Louwie Gan who is the 1st Filipino Architect and Urban Planner professionally accredited by international organizations in green building and urban planning in USA, Vietnam, United Arab Emirates and the Philippines; Asian Dragon, an international import-export company whose cement is the only one recognized by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) as carbon neutral cement, represented by its Chairman, Michael Sullivan; and many other local and international companies in related industries.

Hosted by The Green Man, Matthias Gelber, also known as the greenest man on earth, the event also saw the signings of memorandums and agreements between SAI and Matthias Gelber, Sinosun and Relyant, Sinosun and SMA, and, Asian Dragon and Superbrands. Also present was Eric Chan, the CTO of Sinosun Labs from Kuala Lumpur who spoke about how blockchain can be applied to record and identify the sustainability level of projects and building materials; and Fedaa Alrifai, the VP for Product Marketing of SPEZA Digital Exchange, who explained how digitalization can support sustainability.

SAI will be promoting and advocating sustainability while MUNDAX will be supporting its initiatives to raise funds for projects through Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and Security Token Offerings (STOs). In Mr. Johnson’s speech, he pledged to extend full assistance to all the companies who have attended to raise fund for all future projects focused on sustainability. “The collaboration between Sustainability and Digitalization will be the key to the future of life on earth,” Richard Johnson said.
